We invite all supporters to our upcoming meeting: ‘The Rollout of SMART infrastructure in the UK & How We Can Resist’ in Stockport, Greater Manchester on Saturday 13 May from 1-5pm.

Confirmed Speakers so far

Jonathan Tilt: Jonanthan is a former founding member of the Freedom Alliance, now co-ordinator at the Vote Freedom Project, which is supporting independent candidates to stand in the upcoming local elections with the goal of restoring freedom, rejecting corruption and rescuing democracy.

Temora Yuille: Temora Yuille is an independent researcher and Youtube content creator, a stay-at-home educating mother, with a background in journalism and academia. Her recent vlog topics include: UN Sustainable Development Goals, the circular economy, Livable Neighbourhoods and the Internet of Things.

Emily Garcia: Emily is a Real Left contributor/member. She will be speaking about the local council’s One Stockport plan, the Greater Manchester Digital Blueprint strategy and Greater Manchester Future Mobility Zone, amongst other topics.

Tickets are free, however donations will be gratefully received. (We are happy to take cash on the day, or you can donate through Eventbrite. We will have venue hire and refreshments costs to cover, so we very much appreciate any financial contribution you feel able to make.)

The venue has disabled access and toilets. It is around a 10 mins walk from Stockport train station and 2 mins walk from the 192/191 route bus-stop. There is free parking adjacent. We can offer a pick up from the train station, if you struggle with mobility let us know.
